After an early breakfast, transfer to the relevant Bwindi park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers.
Enter the ancient rainforest with your ranger and trekking group in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may involve steep slopes, muddy trails, and several hours of walking, depending on the gorillas’ location and weather conditions.
Once the gorillas are found, enjoy the permitted viewing time and observe their remarkable behavior, including feeding, grooming, resting, and interactions between family members.
After trekking, return to your lodge for lunch and a well-earned rest. An optional community visit may be arranged if time and energy permit.
Important: Mountain gorilla trekking on this itinerary takes place exclusively in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. No gorilla trekking is scheduled in Rwanda.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Enjoy breakfast before departing Bwindi for Lake Bunyonyi, one of southwestern Uganda’s most beautiful lakes, known for its green terraced hills, islands, and peaceful atmosphere.
Depending on your preferred pace, enjoy a short lakeside stop or an optional canoe excursion before continuing toward Entebbe.
Because the journey from Bwindi to Entebbe is long, the day’s schedule will depend on road conditions and the amount of time spent at Lake Bunyonyi. For comfort, an additional overnight near the lake or in another suitable location can be added by adjusting the itinerary.
Accommodation: Entebbe or a suitable overnight stop, depending on the confirmed schedule

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
