Day 1: Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Morning:
- Transfer from your hotel to Entebbe International Airport for a scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip, near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
- Enjoy the scenic flight over the beautiful landscapes of Uganda, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
- Mid-Morning:
- Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is about a 1-hour drive.
- Check-in and enjoy a welcome drink at the lodge.
- Afternoon:
- Have lunch at the lodge and relax with stunning views of the forest.
- Optional: Enjoy a community walk to visit local Batwa communities, where you will learn about their unique culture, traditions, and way of life.
- Evening:
- Return to the lodge for dinner.
- Overnight at the lodge, with a briefing on the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Early Morning:
- Wake up early and have a hearty breakfast at the lodge.
- Transfer to the Bwindi National Park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers on gorilla trekking rules and etiquette.
- Morning to Early Afternoon:
- Begin the exhilarating trek through the dense forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek can take from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you are tracking.
- Upon finding the gorillas, spend one magical hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. This experience is truly unforgettable and often described as life-changing.
- Afternoon:
- After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch.
- Relax and unwind with a massage or simply enjoy the serene surroundings of the lodge.
- Evening:
- Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge.
- Reflect on your amazing gorilla trekking experience around a campfire or in the comfort of the lodge’s lounge.

Day 3: Bwindi – Entebbe
- Morning:

- Transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe.
- Midday:
- Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to your hotel or connect to your international flight.

Tour Plan
Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist with the immigration process and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe.
- After a brief rest, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, located in southwestern Uganda.
- As you travel through the countryside, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the rolling hills and terraced farmlands.
Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the evening and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Rise early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by the experienced park rangers.
- Receive information about the gorilla trekking rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- After the briefing, embark on an exciting gorilla trekking adventure in the dense forest. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty, depending on the location of the gorilla family you’ll be visiting.
- Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend a precious hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
- After the gorilla trek, return to your lodge for relaxation and to share stories of the day’s adventure.
- In the evening, you may have the opportunity to participate in a cultural performance by the local community, showcasing traditional dances and music.
Day 3
Return to Entebbe and Departure
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge before bidding farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
- Begin your journey back to Entebbe, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
- Upon arrival in Entebbe, you may choose to explore some of the attractions in the area, such as the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or the beautiful botanical gardens.
- Finally, our representative will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda gorilla tour.
