Overview
Lake Mburo National Park is one of Uganda’s smallest savannah parks, offering a serene escape and unique wildlife experiences.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
- Travel Time: Approximately 4-5 hours from Kampala.
- Activities:
- Depart Kampala in the morning and head to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, lush plantations, and herds of Ankole cattle along the way.
- Make a stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and experiment with water flow demonstrations.
- Arrive at the park, check in at your lodge, and have lunch.
- In the late afternoon, go for a game drive to spot wildlife such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and elands.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

- Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation.
- After lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This offers an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds such as the kingfisher and fish eagle.
- In the evening, you can opt for a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals like leopards and bush babies (optional, at an extra cost).

Day 3: Nature Walk and Return to Kampala
- Activities:
- Begin the morning with a guided nature walk.
- This unique experience allows you to explore the park on foot and get closer to wildlife like zebras and impalas while learning about the flora and fauna.
- Have breakfast at the lodge and check out.
- Start your journey back to Kampala with another stop at the Equator for souvenir shopping.
- Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon.
