Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Jinja

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. With your experienced driver-guide, search for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, waterbucks, warthogs and other wildlife. Lions and leopards may also be seen, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is well known for hippos, waterbirds and other animals along its shores.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy the beautiful hills, cultivated landscapes and rural communities of southwestern Uganda before arriving at your lodge.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the designated park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned to a gorilla family and guided into the forest by trained park personnel.

The trek may take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the terrain. Once you find the gorillas, you will generally have one hour to observe them under standard trekking permit rules.
