Arrival and Transfer to Kampala Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be met by a tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey
Transfer to Kibale National Park After breakfast, you’ll leave Kampala and head west towards Kibale National Park, home to over 1,000 chimpanzees. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, with stops for lunch and sightseeing en route. You’ll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, and if time allows, you’ll take a guided nature walk through the nearby forest.
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. You’ll spend the morning tracking these playful primates through the forest, observing them as they swing through the trees and forage for food. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to a diverse range of birdlife and other wildlife.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast, you’ll leave Kibale and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping for lunch en route. You’ll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, with time to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the park’s savannah plains
Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park Early in the morning, you’ll set out on a game drive through the park’s vast savannah plains, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the Big 5 – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a range of bird species.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast, you’ll leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, with stops for lunch and sightseeing en route. You’ll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, with time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a gorilla trekking adventure. You’ll spend the morning tracking one of the habituated gorilla families through the forest, and once you find them, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you’ll have the option to visit a nearby Batwa community, where you’ll learn about their traditional way of life.
Departure After breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport, stopping for lunch en route. You’ll arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon, in time for your onward flight.
