Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch the park’s wildlife at its most active. Spot a variety of wildlife including warthogs, giraffes, and waterbucks. Look out for the park’s rich birdlife, including the rare African finfoot.
Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation.
After lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This offers an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds such as the kingfisher and fish eagle.
In the evening, you can opt for a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals like leopards and bush babies (optional, at an extra cost).
Day 3: Nature Walk and Return to Kampala
Begin the morning with a guided nature walk.
This unique experience allows you to explore the park on foot and get closer to wildlife like zebras and impalas while learning about the flora and fauna.
Have breakfast at the lodge and check out.
Start your journey back to Kampala with another stop at the Equator for souvenir shopping.
Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon.
