Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari driver/guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala.

Begin your scenic drive southwest, passing through rolling hills and farmland.

Enjoy a stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping.

Lunch will be taken en route in Mbarara before proceeding to the misty forests of Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

Today is the big day — your Gorilla Trekking adventure!
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing.

Your expert ranger guide will lead you through the thick rainforest in search of a Mountain Gorilla family.

The trek can take 2–6 hours depending on their movement.

When you find the gorillas, you will spend one magical hour observing, photographing, and learning about their behaviors — a truly life-changing experience.

Later, return to the lodge and relax with a warm meal and storytelling around the fire.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Relaxation & Optional Activities

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful and serene Lake Bunyonyi — the deepest lake in Uganda and one of the most scenic lakes in Africa.
Check into your lodge with stunning lake view terraces. You may choose to:

• Enjoy a canoe boat ride

• Visit Punishment Island

• Go swimming (lake is bilharzia-free)
