Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kibale Forest

Upon arrival in Entebbe or Kampala, meet your friendly World Blossom Safaris guide and begin your journey to the lush rainforests of Kibale Forest National Park — home to the highest diversity of primates in East Africa.
Arrive at your lodge surrounded by natural forest sounds.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Nature Walk

Early morning, head into Kibale Forest with experienced rangers for your Chimpanzee Tracking adventure.

Walk through towering trees, spot monkeys, birds, butterflies — and finally meet the Chimpanzees up close.

In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community eco-project known for birds and primates.

Enjoy cultural interaction and learn local traditions.

Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most famous savannah park.
Arrive in time to enjoy views of lakes, wildlife plains, and the mystical Rwenzori Mountains in the backdrop.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start early with a sunrise game drive on the Kasenyi plains. Look out for:

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and water birds.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha – Tree-Climbing Lions

Today, drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for the rare Tree-Climbing Lions often seen resting in fig trees.

Capture amazing safari photographs before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the Mountain Gorillas.

Relax at your forest lodge in the evening.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking & Return to Entebbe / Kampala

This is the big day!
After briefing, hike into the ancient rainforest of Bwindi, guided by expert trackers.

Once you find the Gorilla family, you will spend a powerful one hour observing them — a moment many describe as life-changing.

After trekking, begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, where the safari ends.
